This section goes over the representation of time in a scalar way versus in a collection way (ie time series)
Time is basically a numeric counter that increases over time.

As Time is also used to represent the fractional part of a day (ie hour, minute, second), we used the term item of type time instead
An item of type Time is defined at different level (known also as precision) such as:

- month

- hour
- minute
- second level.
A amount of time is called a duration or period.

The second is the base unit of time (ie 86400 = 1 day).
Modern timekeeping is based on atomic clocks.
The time numeral system is based on the Babylonian numeral system, base-60, ie:
- 60 minutes in an hour.
- 60 seconds in a minute.
