The PDR and DDR records are system records that define the schema for data records.

Code Description Definition
PDR Property Description Records define the format and behaviour of standard attributes and managed attributes.
DDR Dimension Description Records define managed attributes and thus, among other characteristics, enable the creation of hierarchical standard attribute values.

Attribute

Each schema record defines the properties of an data record attribute and each attribute in that schema record is known as a schema attribute. It controls an (aspect|configuration) of the data record attribute.

It is important to add schema attribute values (PDRs and DDRs ) before loading the source records into the data domain.
