Each browsing context has:

• its own variable
• its own cookie
• its own dom and eventually a parent

Creation

The following element contains a browsing context

• Browser Tab (Window)
• iframe
• frames in a frameset.

Parent

The context are formed in a hierarchical way.

For instance, an iframe can be rendered:

• inside a iframe
• inside a Browser Tab (Window)

If a svg is embedded in a video element, the SVG dom does not see any parent
