Security - Realms

A realm is an administrative domain. Kerberos realms are usually written in uppercase and usually consist of the Internet domain name (for example, MYDOM.COM).

The realm must be listed in the local Kerberos configuration file

4 - Default

From the krb5 configuration, the default realm is:

  • the attribute default_realm in the libdefaults section
  • of is derived from the domain_realm section where you map the realm to ?
