Permission
A role that has read-only or read/write permissions is granted permissions on the individual cells until cell security are applied.
The default permissions are inherited from cube permissions.
By applying cell permissions, the default permissions are overrided.
By default, cell permissions apply to all cells in the cube, but if you grant access to one or more cells, the role is denied access to all other cells until you grant permissions on them.
Use a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) statement to limit the range of cells to which the permissions apply.
Read-contingent
Read-contingent access gives permissions on a calculated cell only if the user have permissions on all cells that are referenced in the calculation.
