Primary colors are the pure hue used in a colorspace to create other colors called secondary, tertiary, … by mixing.

They:

  • cannot be obtained by mixture of other colors.
  • can be combined to make a useful range of colors known as secondary and tertiary colors (see wheel)

You will not be able to get a primary color by mixing other colors together,
