OBIEE - Logical Sql

The logical SQL is the SQL that understand OBIEE - BI Server.

When you have a connection with BI Server the client tool use it to retrieve information as :

• OBIEE - BI Presentation Server (Dashboard / Answer)
• a Web Service call
• an ODBC connection

In BI Presentation, when you create an answer or a dashboard prompt, you create in fact a logical SQL. Then you have to use its syntax in all their elements such as :

• and filter
